Is Prayer Always Answered?

Ask, and it shall be given you;
Seek, and ye shall find;
Knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth;
And he that seeketh findeth;
And to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8

He wants us to pray, because He WANTS to answer.

Sometimes His answer is yes, sometimes it’s no. It can also be wait.

Even the seeming “non-answer” is His voice.

What about when there is silence, no action, no peace? Is He teaching me to pray according to His will? Is there a different way to pray?

By his word and spirit, God will teach those who are teachable and who give him time whether their request be according to his will or not. Withdraw the request if it is not according to God‘s will, or persevere until the answer comes. – Andrew Murray, With Christ in the School of Prayer.

Make no mistake, He will answer when we call to Him,

Jeremiah 33:3, Call unto Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things you do not know.

Prayer is supposed to have an answer. It is in prayer and its answer that the interchange of love between the father and his child takes place.– Andrew Murray, With Christ in the School of Prayer.

Let’s persevere with confidence in His answer to our prayer!
